Since August 3rd 2009, we are living in Torréon, Mexico & working at Colegio Americano de Torroén. It was a great journey by land to come down here (see pics) and we are more than happy to be finally here. The school is 52 years old and huge (1300 students): a big difference with St.Maarten or Egypt.
For the next years, we are hoping to travel extensively in Mexico, visiting all of it from North to South! We never tought is was such a big country: to travel from Torréon to Cozumel (see map below) is just as far and longer in time than to travel from Montréal (Canada) to Torréon. Everyday, we enjoy some great Mexican food (click here for pictures). From tacos to gorditas, burritos or fajitas, we ate them almost daily. Tequila is cheap between 4$ and 20$ for a bottle. I have to say that I do not see the difference between a cheap and expensive bottle (for now anyway!). |
