Visited places so far...
July 2023 was the beginning of a one-year trip around the world. This travel year has been planned for a period of over 5 years. As science teachers, a leave of absence was approved by our school in 2018.
Like most of our trips done in the past two decades, the goal is not to cover as many countries nor peaking at top tourist sights and checking off a list of to-do items by getting top tourists pictures. We are slow travelers, usually spending weeks or even months in a given country. Taking the time to settle down for a few days, live the local life, meet and talk to locals. Here are the tentative countries we hope to visit this year:
Venice, Bosnia, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Portugal, Bulgaria, Armenia, India (Sikkim), Nepal, Indonesia (Bali & Lombok), Australia, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay.
